Group buy - big brake upgrade for 156/147/GT

OK guys, as you might know if you have been following my thread, I'm looking at upgrading my brakes on the 156.

My thread here: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tunin...4mm-330mm.html (Brake conversion 284mm -> 330mm)

I've settled on a a K-Sport 330mm brake kit as the best possible upgrade per £. Before any discount we might get, it's going to be £900 for the for the kit, which includes DS2500 pads, VAT and delivery.

Details here: K-Sport Big Brake Kits for European and Japanese Vehicles

The kit contains:

-two front calipers, with 8-pistons in each!
-two front discs, 330x32mm
-front pads (DS2500 I recommend but there are alternative options)
- stainless steel braided front hoses
- all the fitting bits and pieces necessary

To take part in this, you will need:

A 147 or a 156, but not a GTA. (1.9/2.0 GT is a possibility, anyone with a GT interested let me know and I'll find out for you)

17" wheels

Please register your interest on the thread if you are a 'maybe' or a definite or have any questions.

I'm hoping to get this down to £700 or so, if we can get ten of us to do the upgrade.

Back on the road: Alfa 156 3.0 24v V6, Silver with red leather, Q2 diff, 17" GTA Teledials, headlights & inlet manifold, AutoDelta carbon intake,
SuperSprint exhaust, Dastek Unichip & FK coilovers - my 245bhp beast!

Gone but not forgotten: Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, Vela Blu, Angel 'mad map' & BMC CDA, Ferodo DS2500s - the fastest tractor in town!

Re: Group buy - big brake upgrade for 156/147/GT

Have been in touch with the owner of K-Sport, the pre-discount cost of the 330 kit with DS2500s is £936.76 inclusive of VAT and delivery.

You can remove £17.xx if you pick up in person in Bradford.

If we have 5 people or more buying, we can get a 15% discount on everything except the pads (which are £70, good price if you ask me)

With 10 people or more buying, we can have a 20% discount, which is the maximum available.

Transaction is in the form of an initial deposit, then the brake kits are ordered by K-Sport, they come via boat which may take around 8-10 weeks..

Full payment will be expected 1-2 weeks prior to the arrival of the kit.

Its also possible to have a kit made up for the GT and the GTV/Spider..

So, any takers? There are a few potential buyers on alfa156.net as well..
