166 gearbox swap
The thrust bearing on my 2.5V6 166 is making some horrible noises & after getting a quote of around £400 + vat for a new clutch I have decided I may as well upgrade to a 6 speed box if this is possible as a seller on ebay has 1 at the moment there have been 2 on recently neither has sold but the one for a 156 is cheaper basically I need to know if the swap is possible in the first place & would anything else need changing as the ePER isn't giving me any answers as it doesn't seem to distinguish between 5 & 6 speed boxes & would the 156 box be usable or do I need to stick to the 166 box as from going through previous threads on here it appears the 156 box has slightly differnt mounts
