Fitting a BMC

I'm about half way into fittting the bmc filter, i've look at some other post in the past, but have not found any real info about how to connect the bottom part of the system. whether to keep the original induction and linked it to the bmc or to use the bmc tube?
Any sort of help would be much appreciated, as i'm not sure whats best.

Re: Fitting a BMC

Can't anyone give some advice, all i really need to know is where to lead the black corrugated intake pipe on a gtv to get the best result?
quick question has anyone that has fitted the bmc air filter, reconnected it back to the original alfa snorkel pipe? or custom made their own as the original alfa pipe is not very good?

Re: Fitting a BMC

I fitted one to my 155. As I wanted to avoid the doy racer look I cut out the bottom of the original filter box so that it could sit there unseen. Thinking of one for the 166 and there mey be room to leave it in the original filter box as it't huge and also a good cold air feed from vent beside foglight.
