New Performance Friction Pads - Thanks AutoLusso

Just got back from spending most of the day at AutoLusso getting some new Performance Friction brake pads fitted, along with braided hoses and uprated fluid. Ned (of AutoLusso) uses these on his race car and Trailbraker kindly tested some on his GTA and gave the thumbs up. So I had a set fitted and they make a HUGE diference. I have the smaller brakes (305mm) and these dramatically improve my stopping power. I know this because I tried them out but also because Ned did a brake test which involved very fast stops from 100mph with him trying to make me lose the bacon sandwich I ate earlier

Very impressed so far, so recommend them to anyone else considering better pads. This was my first experience of AutoLusso, I found Ned and the team to be very friendly and knowledgable. Already booked for a Q2 and will be getting some suspension upgrades as well. Ned is putting together some nice upgrade packages for 156 owners. Had good chinwags there with several other happy customers.

Cheers,

Nigel

The PF pads are excellent. As stated elsewhere, ours squealed a bit at first but are now silent. The car stops on its' nose now, as if it's going backwards. Coupled with the diff, it's amazing.

I have a slight bit of squeaking but it is only slight, not intrusive. Will be gone very soon I reckon. Went for a spin tonight and was really impressed again.

Cheers,

Nigel

Hi - what is the exact product name (carbon ceramcic, z-rated or something else) ? Because recently I was asking pfc for z-rated pads for the 305 Brembo calipers and I was told that there are none...

I'm on 305's too, and the standard brakes don't like B roads - Doesn't matter whether you're going for it or not, they're still crap!

I've got braided lines already, how much to supply the pads?
(and which brake fluid do you guys recommend? )

Contact Ned at Autolusso - he'll give you a quote and tell you what fluid.
