Wave Boosting the Brera...Japan.

And advice and where to get it done...!?

Besides the ellusive Autodelta (I have not found one in Japan yet) does anyone have any advice on how to either supercharge or turbo the Brera, as well as changing other spec items such as the exhaust, remapping it, etc etc etc. What...? Where...? How much...? The usual deal I guess.

I have just bought one and I am loving the cars beauty...but looks is ALL it has, there is not heart in her. So, obviously I want to lighten it and add some major performance that is sports practical - meaning smilinig while I drive somewhere with comfort and class. The engine as many know is a heartless paper weight which adds to the insult of buying a high end car. Well, semi-high end car...(high end for those of us who are NOT rich)

I am wanting to get any and all information related to this (of course I have searched other forums and places) area of boosting the Brera.

How can I do it in Japan, the land of Godzilla - which is same nearly cheaper in term of model...new price of course.

Ask GTACharlie, he's the boss on GTA modding in Japan

In the meantime, see here: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tunin...-unicorse.html (Unicorse)

Re: Boosting the Brera...Japan.

I'm not sure if Novitec have an official importer in Japan but you could always import the bits yourself !!

Sometimes Novitec's delivery times can be a bit slow so try there guys instead Alfisti !!

Re: Boosting the Brera...Japan.

Ill try to contact GTACharlie as well as looking at importing the bits of course. But that is also my prob...all Iknow is that they are using a rotrex supercharger and thats about it. I am not sure what other mods were done to the Autodelta Brera - not that I want exact specs as I just want to get some basic power up and running first, see how things pan out from there I guess.

And there are sportingly great rumours of the 09 Brera being a turbo/ supercharged unit...? I am sure they would charge PREMIUM prizes for that, hence it would be cheaper to have my current baby, sorry Brera done up to the nine.

Any parts info would be good, saves me having to do a massive search - not that I am lazy mind you of course; and I have also contacted Autodelta directly. Yet, I am not assuming that I will get a reply any time in the near futrur if at all...?

Re: Boosting the Brera...Japan.

Yes now that is what I am talking about...some power to match the whole package - as per the original visage link. I have read some of this a while ago, so it looks like I may have to do some metaphorical walking with my fingers all over the net again as well as bill up the mobile with 20 phone calls to gather up all the strands of info.

Thanks so far for all your input thus far chaps...any other info would also be welcomed in regards to header, exhaust, shocks ets etc set ups and choices. Pics of your current beast would be great to so I can see what you all may have done to your Breras.

I have seen only one chap here in japan who has done the Lambo door conversion...VERY cool, as per the original design. Sorry about the disgusting music though in that link.

Re: Boosting the Brera...Japan.

Astro... check out my Novitec exhaust thread to see my new rear silencers... they look sooooo much better than the stock items !!

The sound is deeper too but not intrusive !!

Not sure how they would sound in the 3.2 though !!

I'm probably going to go for the adjustable Novitec coilovers but KW do a kit too IIRC !!

I'll be doing a front disk and pad upgrade too !!

Thanks nomad for giving my PM - I'll do my best to give all the info I can. I'm still wanting to write a full review, after over 8 months since I got the full J5 conversion, but time isn't kind to me sometimes

Ignore him. It's a turbo-Diesel.

Without the turbo it wouldn't actually
move anywhere.

Gosh I am so envious of you at this moment Slim-san...WISH I had that conversion, but I have to wait until things fall into place. But your help and advice is exactly what I need now as you have 1st hand knowledge of the conversion and what the comparison is. Again, thanks slim
