Induction intake

Hi all

I see a lot of thread's regarding the air intake, and most seem to use a V6 upgrade. Now i have a 2.0 T.Spark GTV with a K&N air filter and have removed the resinator box.I am looking to up grade my induction pipe, so will a 3.0V6 pipe be different from the one thats on mine?and if so would this be a good replacment ?.We are talking about the initial intake bit behind the light (just incase of any confusion)

Re: Induction intake

If you have removed the resonator box so you just have a hole going into the side of the air box, you will only be moving the intake, not improving the width or flow of the air into the filter box. The V6 pipe is angled so it gets air from just behind the headlight assembly infront of the passenger side wheel well area. It will keep the entry to the air box higher so less likely to pull in water, cack and muck. Up to you if you want to add it. I'd guess no change in power or noise.

1999 Selespeed Sp3 - Proteo Red with Tan leather + 2000 GTV 2.0TS Lusso in Vela blue with tan leather. The terrible twosome!
