Can anyone tell me?

How do can you tell if a remap has been done on a car without checking the ECU?

If anyone knows how I'd like to know what to look for if I buy a different Alfa, could be on the cards!

Re: Can anyone tell me?

Erm.... If it doesnt really pull under 3000RPM then it aint been mapped.

Difficult to tell though. Rolling Road would be able to prove figures.

Re: Can anyone tell me?

I was thinking about getting mine done for a while, but if I decide to get a gtv instead I just wanted to know if there were any subtle differences to check, but I understand what you mean about sub 3000 rpm pull.

Re: Can anyone tell me?

If the rev limiter's higher than it should be chances are it's been remapped.
