Drunk Boosting The Performance On A 156 Selespeed 2003

I was wondering whats the best option for boosting the performance on my selespeed if possible?is there any thing i can do myself being a ***** novice?cheers!!!!

remapping the throttle software makes some difference, for topspeed you need other cams , induction kit, and longer 5th gear

Morning Rarebear.: Tell me something, it was often banded around that the crankshaft on the 16v Turboed Lancia I had, was a 'spezial' forging, and treated, (Molybdenum, Tuftrided was it? for performance, and longevity? So how are the bottom ends of the Alfa 2.0 litres by comparison? They reckoned the Thema's crank could not be re-ground undersize either? Just interested, as some of you competition chaps are more aufait with that stuff than me.:
