Oil cooler for JTD 8v???

has anyone done that?

What parts did you use and from which manufacture?

Just to clarify I want to remove the water cooler and fit a sandwich plate with thermostat in it, together with radiator.

Same as the 16v version.

No one has ever fitted Oil cooler radiator instead of the water cooler.

It is the same thing on most TS engines.

I have done it on my V6 but it would be 100 times easier on a TS engine as the oil filter and water cooler are much easier to get at.

Where is the filter on the JTD? - near the front like the TS?

You could use the oil cooler from a 147 GTA......

Yep, it is very easy to get to.

Which parts did you use? mocal or something else?

Yes I used Mocal parts - 16 row oil cooler with 5/8" bsp fittings, take off plate, remote oil filter etc
