GT Tuning

Not wanting to let the grass grow i have decided to go ahead and tune my GT JTS immediately! So if anybody has any suggestions that will work well with the following plans i would love to hear them.

Remove the engine and have it completed blue printed / lightened / balanced. I am resisting the urge to over bore it I have to draw a line somewhere! But also I would like to keep the engine dimensions standard.

Have the head gas flowed, ported an maybe a slight skim

New cam shafts (not sure what spec yet) along with new induction system and exhaust manifold - but i don't want to make it boy racer loud - i would like to keep the Alfa rasp just more of it!

Software remap.

Has anyone ever fitted a Weber marelli injection system?

I am looking to push the power as high as I can get it, but I am also looking for lots of revs and immediate throttle response.

I am also going to play around with the suspension, on the whole its ok for the track but i feel its a bit too stiff for fast road. Also going to put on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cups - they transform pretty well any car! (although they cost).

Yes - I would have bought a V6 if they still made them, although even if I had I would still be tuning that up!

Re: GT Tuning

Autodelta do a 'map or if you're serious, a superb supercharger conversion. You'd need a trick diff though and bigger brakes for that and the Q2 will not fit a 5 speed JTS box and not sure if a 6 speed V6 box can be mated to the JTS engine

Re: GT Tuning

First thing would be to ask yourself why?

Then what power you are going to be happy with....?
