Not really - I used to find Yahoo provided all the answers I needed when searching for things anyway and that Google often produced pages of guff along with the answers. I've prided myself with finding things over the years where others have failed (and yes, I know pride comes before a fall :P) by learning How to search better rather than just using a sledgehammer when a normal hammer will do... That said, I am prepared to use Google when something evades me - it's about using tools that work for the job at the end of the day and I just have preferred and gotten what I've needed without Google... and I don't like the way Google try to come across as "the saviours of the internet" when their privacy standards and sharing of information is no better than any other money-making company (it's more the image they try to cultivate more than the policy itself)
