I read that earlier, I've been watching Nokia progress ever since they announced their relationship with MS and I'm pretty much convincd now that I will be getting this phone early next year (when my crappy 3GS contract is up)

I might wait abit given that Nokia have indicated they aren't happy with the battery life (still the same as other smart phones though), so I'm sure they can do some good things to improve this

With Nokia's announcement to be using ST-Ericsson silicon for the next
handsets this will mean that there is a (mostly) European handset
back in the game.

That is also good to hear, as good as the Americans are (not!!!) they just don't understand the european market and the technologies we use over hear ... for instance they are never going to put DAB radio's into there phones whereas DAB is growing strongly over here

I was going to get one ... until they announced that Windows 8 Phone would not be backwardly compatible with a Windows 7 handset, so I'm just going to wait ... bad marketing move IMHO

my wife has got one. Its great apart from a short battery life. But it might have a short shelf life as Microsoft have windows 8 coming later this year and it won't be backwards compatible. I have heard that there will be a couple of updates in the meantime.However, I still think it's an ok phone for for the money. the interface looks goergeous IMHO, better looking than ios.
Camera is good too. I have not worked out how to get customised MP3 ringtones on it, but that is nort a dealbreaker.
It feels nice in your hand too!

Well I got one a few days ago, I love the interface & the screen quality is excellent. The camera & video capability also seems excellent from what I've seen so far

I should also be getting a set of Monster Purity headphones free from Nokia as I purchased before the end of July
