Looking at the sony ericsson financial statement it looks like they made a €50 million loss in the last quarter.
And...
Cash flow from operating activities during the quarter was negative Euro 224 million, mainly due to increases in accounts receivables and inventories, negative net income and timing of certain payments. New external borrowings of Euro 165 million were made during the quarter to enhance liquidity and growth, resulting in total borrowings of Euro 769 million at the end of the quarter.

Hopefully it picks up for them as there are only a few companies that put out innovative products, Sony is one of them, I await the outcome of them bringing the Ericsson mobile unit in house under their wings with better access to all Sony has to offer, a proper Sony playstation phone out based on the Vita platform would be nice, the Vita is sweet hardware.

I've just picked up an Xperia play after a couple of years playing touchscreen games on my old phone and I have to say this is the absolute business, all the touchscreen games I'd previously played now feel right, gaming and buttons, match made in heaven , wish I bought it sooner but I'm tight and had to wait for the priced to drop

I must admit I've been using my W800i recently in preference to my 3GS ... the battery lasts for ever (in fact when I got it out of the garage where it had been for 18 months, I switched it on and there was still 90% battery!!!!) AND I get a strong signal everywhere I go

I still have my W995 in my work bag with the company SIM inside.
Handy phone. Easy to use. Actual buttons to make/end calls and dial.
Loads of features found on "smarter" phones. Battery lasts 2-3 days even when spanked.

I still miss the smart dialling when you start typing a number and it displays all
the numbers and names that correspond to possible keystrokes from you contacts.
The X10 had this too, but it's not been carried forward to the latest one.

The Xperia Pro Mini is almost as good, but still can't compare in the
battery department.

All the Sony's I have had have been awesome, the X10 mini pro is a superb phone but let down drastically by the shocking battery life. To be honest it has put me off getting a newer one, but then I saw the Xperia Ray and I have to get that phone!

My mum is using my old W995 and she likes it even though its still full of Metallica and stuff like that. The W960i was the MP3 player for the car until someone nicked it and the rest are sat around doing sod all
