Is there such software to enable a client & I to see / point at the same thing on our PC screens while talking on the phone?

Very basic and if you use Windows..... you could use windows remote assistance to allow your client to view your screen.

Teamviewer. Very simple and it just works. It's also free for non-commercial use.
