Spider S4 speakers installation

My S4 1993 automatic has finally made it to Moscow, Russia! During this winter i want to install the Fusion Jonah Lomu speakers, which are 2 x 6,5" rear speakers and 10" subwoofer. Has anyone installed something similar to the space behind the seats?

Re: Spider S4 speakers installation

Congrats on the S4, will there be room in the back for those speakers and the subwoofer?
I sat the subwooferand speakers on the shelf behind the seats in my 77 spider. I didn't want to cut up the carpet.
I still have the original speakers in my S4. Let me know how it goes, post up pics when you're done.

Re: Spider S4 speakers installation

I am not sure that they will fit, that is why i am asking if somebody made this kind of installation. For sure it will require some custom made box on the shelf behind the seats, but i spent a lot of time to find these set of speakers and woofer (not produced anymore) so it is worth a try! The second challenge will be the installment of the 5,25" speakers into the doors (they speakers are 7 cm deep).
