Hard Top for Spider S3
Greetings one and all!
My car is a 1986 Spider S3 Quadrifolglio, rosso red (the red ones are faster).
I believe that as a cloverleaf model - she would have come with a hard top as standard. Unfortunately she doesn't have one now...
Can anyone point me in right direction to sourcing one? It's not that I intend to take it out in the rain, I just need it for the British Summer.
(For those of you who aren't aware - summer in England was on 23rd August this year - hope everyone enjoyed it).
Looking forward to plenty of replies from you helpful dudes.
Tootle pip.

Re: Hard Top for Spider S3
They come up occasionally on eBay. I think Richard at www.classicalfa.com had one for sale recently.

Re: Hard Top for Spider S3
Thanks Cosmo,
Had a look at your beautiful looking Spider.
Can I be rude and ask where I may be able to obtain a smaller front number plate - similar to yours?
I realise there may be some "legal issues"

Sure, I got mine from www.framptons.net - good product, great service.

What's the problem? They aren't sold as number plates, it's a just a sign

Re: Hard Top for Spider S3
I've found one in what appears to be fairly good condition: £500
This was more than I thought it should be - what do you think?

I reckon that's very top end of the market. It should be A1 spotless for that kind of money. Does it include a huge delivery fee?

Re: Hard Top for Spider S3
No - I would have to go fetch it.
From the photos, it's not A1 spotless - and it's not as if it's just around the corner for me to go and check it out!

Re: Hard Top for Spider S3
Found another one @£500, from an S4.
I'm correct in thinking that an S4 hard top won't fit an S3, aren't I ?
