Thumbs Up Re: A 2000a Berlina For Sale

Alan, you beat me to it, I spotted it last night but didn't get round to posting on here as my PC was misbehaving . I just posted this on the Alfa BB in the sedan section :-
Check this out Berlina fans :-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110170670012&indexURL= 0&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting
This car changed hands thru a London auctioneer (Barons?) for £3000ish recently but is now for sale again...

It is the one that was auctioned recently and that we took a pic of our cars next to at Weston Park NAD.

PS. Are you going to Auto Italia @ The Heritage Motor Museum (Gaydon, Warwickshire) on sunday.

Chilling Re: A 2000a Berlina For Sale

Looks absolutly stunning, nice period colour and one of very few Autos.
But, not for me, looking at the pics make me think LADA
Likes the Giulias much better, noting looks like the early ones.

It looks great...perhaps a little too shiny under the bonnet. Is that a repair patch in the boot. I would pay up to 4K for it but I think the automaticness of it would put me off...and the not having 4K.

@ Erik, Early Giulias have an early Lada look about them too, but then so did many other four door saloon cars of that era

@ Davey, It is a little O.T.T. under the bonnet . I too noticed what appears to be a poorly finished repair patch in the boot along the O/S of the spare wheel well.
Maybe the "automaticness" would suit our slush-box lovin' Alfisti cousins across the pond, but then the steering wheel would be on the wrong side for them .

It didn't sell !. I guess that puts a ceiling on the very best to about £3500. I think thats great value really. I guess you would have to own one because you liked them rather than as an short term investment.
