Help V6 into S4 Spider

Hi all, I am after any and all info about fitting a 12 valve/ 24 valve V6 into my Series 4 Spider Veloce. If anyone has done this themselves and/or has any links with info or knows where I can get a fitting kit from it would be greatly appreciated. I am in Australia and have trouble finding any help with anything for my car as I believe there are only a couple of this model in the country. Cheers
Nathan

Re: V6 into S4 Spider

Thanks for the info guys ....... My spider has just had a bare metal re-spray, new hood, new lights, interior and now the engine is the last thing so if I go for the conversion I'll be sure to document it here. If I re-build the stock engine I'll get some pics up anyway

Re: V6 into S4 Spider

Pappajams link is the best bet for info. That site is the dog's bol locks for old Alfas and has many stories stories and attempts listed (search first - they're a cranky bunch).

I considered the V6 for my duetto, it's a bugger though (transmission, fit, mounts, exhaust).. the 2.0L twinspark or the turbo!! is much simpler (and the route i wlil take with my next 105).

duetto turbo
here you go the thread Marco/Hambur half way down page two

Re: V6 into S4 Spider

Here's a pic I took on Father's day in North Vancouver of the v6 in a S4 like mine.
