That's good news, the steering should be ok for a good few tests in the future then if all is well now. It's great how the older stuff was made to be repaired and maintained rather than just having new parts fitted. Best of luck with the retest.

Thanks, I'm chuffed...a repair that's cost me nothing but time

Although I'll get a replacement balljoint and definitely need some more dust covers as only one out of the five or so is working properly

Sent a few emails about some phosphor bronze too.....preparing for the future
