Re: checking out a 1600 GT Junior

I considered using some Ford 15" Steelies when I was looking to increase the wheel diameter, I believe they fit so maybe they are Ford ones.
Are you taking your new toys to National Alfa Day then, Merc and GB?

Well Happy Re: checking out a 1600 GT Junior

So, we could be onto something with the budget wheel upgrade thing then.....
@ Mitch, Yes I have every intention of going to NAD in my Berlina but can't make any promises at the moment as the back axle is in bits to have a new wheel bearing, calipers rebuilt and new brake linings etc. Its a W.I.P thing being held up a little by a lack of funds and time to do it (in that order).

Re: checking out a 1600 GT Junior

Its a no go on the ford rims guys, i offered up a fusion 15" wheel to my half shaft while I had it at work changing the wheel bearing over. I found that the stud/bolt holes are the same spacing but the centre hub is smaller on the fords by around 8mm in the diameter so they wont fit without being modified in some way.
PS, sorry to hijack your thread Merc but thought i'd let you all know my findings on the wheel subject.
