Re: How many 105 Series Spiders on AO?

I don't know how many of the 138 RHD '71 1750 Kamm tails came to Australia, but I have one near the end of the run, Ch. No 1835130 in silver.

Re: How many 105 Series Spiders on AO?

I'm reasonably sure it's the original colour. Haven't checked with the Museum, and the colour sticker is missing, but the car was resprayed by a previous owner in 1981 with a note that it was Grigio Chiaro Metallizzato AR-737 which was apparently used from 1969-1978. The respray when it was 10 years old equates to my experience with my silver 1973 GTV 2000 which lasted the same time from new in the Queensland sun before flaking off in large patches down to the white undercoat.

Just like green, silver presumably wasn't a common colour choice at that time
