Our tax exempt limit is an age of 25 years. I hope GB government does make an effort not to stick it to 1972 only?!!!

A great advert for classic car ownership!

The car was designed by Bertone and "Bertie" is a commonly used pet name. (In English, "Bert" or "Bertie" is a short form of the name "Albert".)

If you can call skinning your knuckles, swearing a lot and freezing your bits off in the garage "engineering", then - yes.

So was ours, until the government reliased how much money they'd lose! So now the limit is 1972, everything before is ok.

ONO, where are the pics ?
These have been on here before, but just a recap.....
BTW, I classify my Sud as a classic, their collectability is definitely rising.

She's treated to a drive 3-4 times per week and I'm sure that helps with the mechanicals.
I've also got a good cover, which I put on whenever possible and the car had a full restoration about 10 years ago so at least its not relying on its factory rust protection.
But to be honest I don't have much choice Joost. To rent a garage in my part of London would cost between £1K to £3K per year. I would rather spend that on a light restoration every few years.
Jon
