Cry Like A Baby 74 Spider, need help.... leaking

My 1974 Spider 2000 is leaking antifreeze. I recently took the engine out and resealed everything. I put the intake manifold onto the block and everything. The day I wanted to start the car up after all the work, I put antifreeze in it and it just spilled out of the side of the engine where the intake manifold connects to the block. Did I not torque it right, or what could be the problem. This is also the 2000 with the original mechanical fuel injection. Any comments or suggestions? TIA

Wrong intake manifold gasket for sure

Welcome to the forum by the way, from which part of the world do you originate?

Pictures of your Scuderia Italia is most welcome, if not downright mandatory around here. Just kidding, but it's parts of the welcome salutation

Thanks a lot. I'll check into that. Are there any other possibilities and has this happened before? Thanks for the welcome and pictures will be coming soon.

Even if you tighten it like a sissy, the coolant wouldn't pour out like that. I have seen even more experienced mechanics than me, make the same error numerous time. Having said that, they kinda knew what was at fault when the coolant poured down the block On the other hand, some gasket patterns are quite alike whether you turn it upside down or not, but it's not quite there, whick would manifest itself as a leak preeeeety soon. Remove the intake manifold and double check, im sure that's where the fault lies.
