Moaning HELP! Need an engine!

What a bummer - total engine failure right at the start of the summer!

Anyone have (or know the whereabouts of) a lump in good nick? 1300, 1600 or 1750 - for a 105 series (duetto)?

email me or reply here

Ta

Try Ian Ellis at www.ianellisalfas.co.uk or Mike Buckler at www.rusperalfaromeo.com.

Re: HELP! Need an engine!

Thanks guys.

Richard pointed me in the direction of Simon Whiting (Gran Turismo) who now has the car. He seems switched on and a pleasure to deal with.

>Bill Smith

Thanks for your post. Ian's helped me with some bits in the past. He keeps a huge stock of used parts and normally has a 105 or two parked outside the barn - but I couldnt remember his name or contact details. All I could remember was the vow I made to ensure next time I visited, it would be in a car that didnt have lowered suspension :-) He probably could have helped me next week - this week he's chillin'.

I've not come across rusper before - their website looks like they only work the modern TS stuff. Is that the case?

Richard Norris. Haven't heard his name in ages, mention him to someone today and up his name pops twice. Deja vu!

Have you met/heard of Steve Parry? I know he broke a couple of Bertones but is based up here in NE England. Could get his contact details for you if you are stuck.

Hi again Jamie - how are you setting on with your spider - did the insurance company sort you out?

The majority of their work is on moderns and they're 164 specialists, but they do service and renovate classics and have a large stock of second-hand parts.
