Hello!
I think you might be the only Alfa 6 owner on here so with that privileged position, feel free to roam around at will! As for spares, I suppose it's the usual suspects of EB Spare and keeping an eye out on Ebay and http://www.************/classifieds/index.asp

Welcome to AO Gollum....before Hugo (Throttleman) asks, we must have some photo's of your 6....inside and out, Engine as well......in fact especially the Engine.
How many 6's are there in the UK, can't be many.

Hugo aka Throttleman is here!
As Mitch asked (first ) some piccies of your 6 will be much appreciated since it's a very rare Alfa among board members.
Welcome to AOer.com, Gollum.

Re: hello to the board, is my alfa a classic
Hi Collum - Welcome, your 6 is most definitely a Classic Alfa, a very rare one. I does, however, share many parts with the Alfetta Berlina from which body is derived.
You better take very good care of it as not many were produced and even fewer have survived. Many have been chopped giving the marvellous engine to other Alfa models.
Alfisti regards
Erik

Re: hello to the board, is my alfa a classic
cheers guys, i'll get some pics taken this weekend hopefully. i can understand why the engines have been used for other projects as its a peach under throttle.
i might need some tuition to post the pics if its not a straightforward button pressing exercise.

Have to ask what your Alfa 6 cost to buy, or was it a straight swop with the 75. Nice choice of car , lets hope your mechanic agrees with you

Re: hello to the board, is my alfa a classic
i prefer not to quote figures as its not really fair on the guy i dealt with and i'm probably going to sell it as i cant afford to run a big car as well as my wifes bravo.
its just been tested for a year so things cant be that bad and the engine note is just so sweet.
in all honesty i need a f#*#in diesel motor as i travel to and from work daily and if i use diesel the company pay for it.

Quite understand and equally understand about the fuel consumption I used to run a 2.5V6 75 auto!!
Expect you will use it as a high day and holiday car
