Classic photo round-up
Now I don't normally believe in cross-posting, but since I know some people don't bother reading the other lounges, I thought I'd post this here.
Hans is once again creating an AO member car calendar, and he's still looking for photos. Now I'm biased, but I'd like to see a few more classics rather than yet another 147. If you've got good photos of your classics and want them used, let Hans know. There is a sample of the calendar page at the end of the calendar thread.

Re: Classic photo round-up
Well you weren't the only fish I was after, but you were one of the big ones I was hoping to hook. I notice you've got a historic plate on your car. Do you run all yours on historic plates or just the racer? Because mine is treated like a daily driver, I don't find there's any point in putting one on my buggy.
As for the rest of the school, come on and jump into the boat and save me the trouble of recasting the net. I mean really how many silver 156s and blue 147s do we need to see in a month?

Re: Classic photo round-up
To be honest, a friend of ours who, upon hearing that both our GTVs were still in the bodyshop, lent us his '67 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce to take to the 2004 National Convention where the pic was taken. Nice friend, eh?
Our '68 will have historic number plates since it will (hopefully) be a 100% correct restoration and will be driven only to shows and events and such like. The '71, OTOH, with all it's go-fast parts, will see regular duty in the fast lane and have 'normal' plates.

Re: Classic photo round-up
Well I didn't think it looked like a white GTV, but I thought maybe it was a previously owned car. I know I certainly don't have friends who would lend me a track car. Hmm...it appears that I need a better class of friends.

Re: Classic photo round-up
I've sent a pic in. I think Jen also sent in a pic of mine and Mitch's Bertone GTVs alongside her Pininfarina GTV. Not a 147 in sight.
And no red Wagons from me either, although red is obviously the best colour.

Unfortunately you have to recalibrate your monitor to see all his bonnet, so it may not be an obvious choice.

Hans, can I send you a pic of my 147 in the year 2021? It might be a classic then!

Re: Classic photo round-up
This is my toy in action. Standard 1800, 1600 brakes, locked diff, slight suspension mods (hacked springs) and slicks. Awesome fun!!
