Spider Paint Colour - quick decision

Hi Guys,
some of you may recall my spider, that started getting sill rust repairs, and is now getting a full body resoration.

I need to choose a colour! The original colour 'Pinninfarina Rosso' has quite a lot of orange in it. I think it is like the old Spider shown here, and sort of like my car also shown. But I am thinking the 'Alfa Rosso', which is apparently only a Coupe/Gulia colour, is better. I think its shown in the Coupe below.

Any thoughts? My head says stay original, although the car isnt the original colour now. My car is the work-in-progress below. I like the deeper Alfa red, but dont want to end with a funny looking result.

Unfortunately I need a quick decision to tell the painter. All advice thankfully recieved!
cheers
Mr_R

The original Spider Rosso colour is much more red when freshly applied - it seems to turn more orange over a period of many years. So I'd go original red.

The later red used on S3 spiders is a darker shade and very nice too.

My S2 Spider 1750 is Pininfarina Rosso, and has not over 13 years not turned as orange as the one in your picture. I'm quite happy about mine.
