RML Performance Ignition System

Hello -
Has anyone used this product in a Spider with L-Jetronic? Here's some copy from the Spruell website(http://www.spruellmotorsport.com/ign...-p-2368.html):
"This is the newest version on the RML Performance Ignition System suitable for race or street. The spark is magnetically triggered and has our time tested advance curve that is perfect for street driven cars. The total advance is 30 degrees. This system is a great replacement for old systems with points type dist. It also works really well in L-jet cars with failed ignition system or a NY car that you are tuning for street performance, ie. cams, headers, or cylinder head modifications. Kit comes with Bosch Blue coil and new RML distributor with internal module, cap and rotor. "

To ask a really dumb question: does using this product eliminate the need for the vacuum sensor that the L-Jetronic system needs to manage ignition advance?
