73 Spider front lights install problem

Hi Guys, hope some can advise.
I am installing the front lights, I gather that the light are offered in from inside the wing.
At the present there are 3 bolts positioned at 10, 2 and 6 o'clock, but on the actual light unit no corresponding holes.
This has got me flumuxed, picture below, I haven't put the chrome surround on that holds the light unit in place, but this doesn't help.

You haven't mixed up right from left by any chance?
Also unless you have the carello plastic light shrouds, the lights are fitted from the front of the car, surely? not from up inside the wing??
There are no screw holes, but small self tapping clips you slip over the metal where the cut-outs in the body should line up with the holes in the headlight bowls.

Ok, it was that there are the 3 bolts/screws sitting there. I have the chrome surround that holds the lamp in place, and the S/S shroud that fits over the opening outside the wing!! If you get my meaning.

I will look at it from this angle and report back after the easter break.

Only spiders with headlamp covers are fitted from inside the wing onto the support frame. You have the type which is fitted from the outside. You need to turn the bowl around because the tab which holds the trim should be at the bottom

Hi, Ok it makes sense, returned from easter break so will get on to it.
