blue box under dash

please help, could anyone tell me what this box is?. i think it could be a car alarm as all the wires are black. if it is an alarm does anyone know how to work it?

Sorry, doesnt ring a bell, looks like some sort of an aftermarket thingy. Possibly a left over from a former car alarm installation p'haps. Can you trace the wires back to some known parts of the car?

I don't have anything like that under my dash So I can't really help.
Is it isolated? If so is there anything electrical that doesn't seem to work?

You say all the wires are black but the only wire I can see in that picture is white ?
