Alfa Romeo Alfa 6 parts

I know this is probably asking for the impossible but....I need the following bits for my Alfa 6:

Thermostat housing
Upper water pump housing
The 2 coolant pipes that connect the cylinder heads to the thermostat

The engine is currently being rebuilt to facilitate easy movement before work on the body commences. If parts are not available I might consider an engine transplant so if anyone has a suitable candidate please let me know (preferably a complete doner car in running order that I could drive onto a trailer, utterly and completely rotten underneath and not worth saving).

Series 1, carbs, registered 1984 (A plate). I think it's an ex-Alfa press car but it's been off the road since 1999.

I had it running but it had poor compression on two cylinders and was taken off the road after worn valve stem oil seals caued it to fail an MOT so heads are being rebuilt.

There was another "Alfa sei" on here, that was also called a press car, had a slough number "SLY", was sold about June last year.

That'd be C55 SLY, a series 2 in silver, retro fitted with series 1 healights, a 3.0 75 engine and 17" AMG wheels. It was for sale at Sunnyside garage in Romford in Sept and went on eBay shortly after. Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared again. Mine is A852 HLR and it says "Alfa Romeo" on the original number plates, plus A845 HLR was an Alfetta Gold Cloverleaf press car. I'd have thought that almost all of the 134 imported into the UK were registered to Alfa UK or the dealer network!

I think I have seen that car. An Alfa specialist in the North had it until last spring. I saw it when I was droping of some sud bits to be refurbished. He'd had it for a bit then stopped driving it. It was bought by another true Alfa enthusiast but the bodywork repairs needed were quite a lot (and there is quite a lot of it) so I understand it was sold on and the Romford guy who was a previous owner bought it. It hung around for a bit. Some of the statements made in the adverts by that Romford vendor seemed a mean given the genuine and enthuiastic nature of the previous owners.

I admire Alfa 6 owners - you take a love of Alfa's to a another level.

a cheap little number on ebay in germany for alfa sei enthusiasts, a complete alfa sei engine with not a lot of miles on it and the ancilliaries, like carbs, manifolds, dizzy, flywheel etc! (I posted this on the thread: 1970's Alfa V6 Engine - but in fact better placed here!)
