Crazed 1600 GT Junior in EVO

Just a one page review. They borrow a classic each month. The chap driving it hadn't been born when the car was built (1975) and I think the brakes and handling were a bit of an eyeopener for him!!

But he did see some of the appeal...

Were the F1-deceleration and impeccable road manners too much for him?

Something like that Bill...

Once he got into the swing of the things, he did comment that it was good to drive something which was a lot of fun without having to go at lunatic speeds. I think that is one of the main appeals of a classic in this day and age.

Re: 1600 GT Junior in EVO

I noticed he thought the Brakes didn't bite hard enough for his liking.......he should have driven a 156 before the GTJ, to get used to the idea....

I was a bit puzzled by his referance to it bouncing around on the high side walls, not something I am aware of myself, but I wonder if he was confused by the rear end shimying about at low speeds, that is wierd.
