From the Owners Club:

http://www.************/classifieds/

2000 Berlina. 1971. Historic rally car. Many wins and events. On front cover of AROC magazine and subject of several magazine articles. Cage, bucket seats and harnesses. Harvey Bailey handling kit, limited slip diff., Momo wheels. Taxed, MOT’d. Brand new paint. She’s lively, a real head turner. £2,500.

Thanks for that Rick. Am I right in saying the 2000cc cars have a different look to them at the front compared to a 1.6??

Re: Looking for a nice 105 sedan super/ti

I get in a bit of a muddle with the saloons to be honest.
I'm not sure if the 2000 isn't a bigger car.
Anyway, the 2000 has the big grille on it:

I think you want the one with the chopped off Kamm tail boot and the front more like a Coupe? Like on a Malteser advert a couple of years ago where two girls drove round and round a roundabout?

I have a book at home. I will try and fathom it out.

Aren't you guys mixing up the Giulia and the Berlina?

I never drove the Berlina, but they say she is really underappreciated.

Re: Looking for a nice 105 sedan super/ti

Matt, I know of a very good Giulia Super which is Red with Black interior, it is in great condition, and was restored by my father a while back and is owned by a good friend of ours who also owns our old orange Monty. Send me a private message and i will be able to give you more info on the car.

p.s. Berlinas are a nightmare because specialist parts are almost impossible to find!

off topic a bit but

like the seller says probably too nice to turn in to a racer but might be interesting instead of the salon???

Toooks that car appeared in this lounge a couple of months back, just bought by Magic Rat, he didn't keep it very long, and the best times for taking it out are right around the corner.

Why sell it just before the best of the weather?

I know mines just back from a service ready for the sunny days ahead and the blast down to SAD on the 18th..

Well my Gt J has gone today, and I even made a small profit!!

So a case of wait and see what turns up, although I really do fancy a saloon..........hope I dont have to wait too long as the summer is nearly here!

Veloce Sport have a plummy-pink left hand drive one in this months Classic & Sportscar magazine.
It's got Minilite wheels on it.

£3,500 ish I think.

Re: Looking for a nice 105 sedan super/ti

The saloon at Veloce is the one that was on Ebay (i think) a few months ago........trouble is i used to have a LHD drive car(maserati bi turbo) and never got on with it.....I used to fall out of it onto the pavement and look a pratt, so LHD is a no no.
The LHD coupe looks a gem on ebay, but its out of my budget and again LHD.

I looked at a RHD saloon last year which was on ebay and an import from Malta.........was white in colour and supposed to be rust free, when I got there it wasnt rust free. jacking points had been done and the body was flakey in places, but not a bad car i suppose, so if thast came up again or similar that would do the job.
My £1300 worth of suspension bits and other goodies look good in my lounge, but i am sure would be better on a car

He's too modest to mention it again, but Mitch would be quite happy "bedding them in" on his 1750 over in Wetherby.
