TUT Alfa Spider missing

I have a 1981 2000 Spider with Webers and Marelli distributor.
It has just started missing as the revs approach 5000. Everything appears in order. Can anybody help? Alfiescar

Re: Alfa Spider missing

Phew, thought for a minute it had been nicked.

I'm afraid I can't help other than to commiserate.

But at least you've still got it.

Re: Alfa Spider missing

I'm with Renone on this one - Excessive play in distributor shaft ? Points knackered ? HT leads up to snuff ? I'd make my way through ignition system first, satisfy myself that all was as it should be, before looking into fuel system area...
