Gas tank removal 86 Spider

I have recently decided to get my wife's 86 Spider on the road again. It has been sitting in the garage for 8 years. After replacing both fuel pumps I got the car started and running. I am concerned about the condition of the gas tank and decided to clean it. I am having a problem getting it out of the car. I have removed all bolts and hoses and it won't budge. I feels like it is fuses in place. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks
