GTV2000 Fresh Air Tubes

My fresh air tubes on my GTV2000 were dry rotted. Luckily, I found almost new replacements because I don't think these are made any more. I replaced the passenger-side tube - piece of cake. However, the driver-side tube is another story because of interference with all the wiring harness and the hand throttle cable. Consequently, I sort of got the driver-side tube installed but the wiring and the hand throttle cable are right where the tube needs to be and are collapsing the tube so as to render it ineffective. Any suggestions how the fresh air tube is supposed to be installed to keep the airway free?
