'72 Spider - heater air ducting

Can anyone help out here? Stripped out the dash to clean up / refurb, & as suspected the heater ducting has all perished and fallen apart. I've been looking around for a while now & haven't been able to find anything - tried EB, Alfaholics etc, but no joy. I would have thought something would have been found by now.
Can anyone shed any light on alternative pipes etc? Many Thanks.

PS If anyone is wondering which pipes I'm on about, it's the actual flexible heater ducting form the blower up to the centre dash vents.

Have you tried ringing Chris at Highwood?

Highwood didn't have the duchting tubes about 2 years ago, but they had 2 used air ducts for the windows wents on top of dash.
I found (google) a lenght of flexable air tube, I cut to the right lenght. at a company that sells ventilation parts and equibment. The tubes are about 8 or 8 cm diameter, cost next to nothing.

Thanks for the replies, yes i tried Highwood with no success unfortunately. I was trying to find some similar stuff myself but couldn't get the right diameter. Erik, can you possibly remember where you got yours from?

I am also trying to source the ducting for the heater and fresh air vents so any information would be most useful.

Thanks.

Re: '72 Spider - heater air ducting

If you're not so bothered about the originality of the cloth/paper type of tubing - it's a bit fragile anyway - then you can use aluminium flexible air ducting. I got some 60mm for the winter air pipe connecting to the air intake but you can get other sizes as well.

I got mine from my local auto parts place. The manufacturer is Pearl on the box but I think you'll probably have to go through a distributer to order it. You can search for part number "PFD" on their web site to see what sizes they have.
