Re: Introduce Yourself to AO South West!

Hi to everyone! Let me introduce myself, i have recently moved to the south west after living abroad for 5 yrs. Owned a few alfas in my time, Guliettas, a few 75s, 3 164s and just treated myself to an '82 GTV6. It needs a few jobs doing, but goes well and is pretty sound, I am enjoying it for now and hope to work on the body through the winter. Hope to come to a local meet and chat Alfas some time! Marcus.

Well I got her back today from Meridien Milano (Portsmouth) so one week & nearly £ 1400 later she's back on the road. Still split on whether to keep her I wanna keep her & the wife wants to defect to something else. As I pointed out to buy what she wants will cost at least another £ 7-10K on top of the 147, even if I get a £1000 plus bill every couple of years it's still cheaper hat getting something else. So I'm now thinking of keeping the 147 & trading the missus in for a younger more streamlined model instead!! A quick note about Meridien - very professional, friendly & helpful the car seems to run better than ever. Yes is was expensive but I got a lot of work done for my money. Highly recommended

I have heard very good things about Meridian, so that is always a plus!

You know you will keep the 147

Yes I was very impressed with Meridien. I'd say the service is actually one of the best I've come across with a main dealer. Far better than my recent experiences with other garages (Peugeot, Renualt, Citroen & Seat). So I'll be going back but hopefully only for servicing & not expensive repairs!!

Hi, I'm Julian, but most people call me Jules. I'm from Barnstaple and drive a 147 jtdm lusso, which I've had just under 2 weeks. It's my first Alfa, and so far so good
