Saturday 8th December

I'm going to be in the South West with my new purchase () around lunchtime on Saturday the 8th December. My mate's driving me down from York (nearly 500 miles round trip ) so I said I'd treat him to lunch as well as his fuel, so will be getting lunch around Bristol - any local ALFA OWNERS* would be more than welcome to join us.

If I can fit it in the day, I might be heading over to Watford too. Do you know if there's any tuning companies open on a Saturday around the Watford area? They'd have to be specialists, cause this is quite a special car....

If I do decide to swing by Red Dot, it might have to be somewhere nearer to Watford than Bristol.. I could probably go west enough to get to Swindon, but its another 40 miles to Bristol from there, adding another 80 to an already massive round trip, not sure if my mate would be up for that... We'll see anyway

Its all off, he sold the car to someone else today!! It was promised to me as well, I'm proper gutted!

It was a 156 3.0 V6. The engine came from a GTV which replaced the broken 2.5. I'm gutted, it would have been an amazing and very special car, one I would have kept for a long, long time.

Yeah I am too, absolutely gutted. I've been keeping it quiet for near on 3 weeks, the guy even put it though an MOT for me, I could have picked it up 2 weeks ago without the MOT but didn't want to take the risk. I'm really, really gutted.
