All you have to do is point people in the right direction and make a date for a meet and stick to it, you will never please everyone, just sort a monthly meet in a central point for all... thats the basics... from the web side you will turn green and moderate your lounge as in being able to delete/stickys/ etc you will also be able to enter the reps/mods room for advice and to see whats ahead, its not hard but you do need to commit abit of time but it's well worth it
