No I wasn't in my car at the time as I walk to work most days. Looked nice though. Didn't hear it as I my mp3 player was destroying my hearing with some Sabbath at the time Next time I see you coming though i'll take them off and give you a wee wave or a thumbs up just so I can have a listen.

On another note, who was the nice man in the red 147 that let me cross the road at Trinity Street in St. Austell yesterday? Couldn't give you an Alfa wave as I had no way of letting you know i'm an Alfisti. I did say thanks though, so cheers

I've seen a few Red 147s out and about recently, there's a JTD and Y reg Selespeed going around Truro, did wave at the Selespeed and got a flash in return.

There's a few Alfas around in the Cornwall area... hopefully some of them are lurkers on here

Just went out for a drive from st. austell up around the eden project (nice little lanes up there ) and then out to Truro for no reason at all. A drive just for the sake of driving Was soooo nice to take the car out again. But.................. didnt pass a single Alfa there and back. Did see a nice gold 146 cloverleaf (i think) in the fore street.

I was up at the Eden project yesterday Don't think I saw another Alfa driving, but there was a 156 parked up in Bugle.

Alex - there is a 1998 black GTV 2.0 in the garage at Scorrier for £2295. Only saw it on the way back at night in the rain so can't tell you much about it but it might be worth a look. Black leather interior and appears to have been serviced at Ongaros so you could give Jon a call about the history. Will need tax and new front tyres imminently.

Offer them 15p and a lollipop

Change the colour to blue and you've got Darrens for a grand less. Leather interior too!

Saw that one on Friday on the way back, nearly crashed into someone overtaking. Going to keep hold of the 147 till the end of summer or at least until I get back from Monza in September.

Not a bad price for that garage, they normally over price most of their cars, might take a wander down and see about a test drive if I get the chance.

Were you driving through Redruth on Sat early eve, thought I spotted you on Falmouth Road.

There were some others guys in looking at the GTV at the time (which was odd, since it was nearly 10pm on the worst night in a long time). I recommended they check out AO for a buyers guide.

I don't really like that garage but that was just from one bad experience. Agreed that their prices are usually optimistic.

As for the Redruth sighting: Not guilty... was up on Dartmoor last weekend.

Not to worry, I was in a takeaway and caught a sighting of someone out of the corner of my eye.

Can't see myself getting a GTV for a few months, got too much on and we've already fallen out over me selling the car once before so I'm going to let the dust settle for the time being.

In the current climate it'll probably still be available come winter anyway.

hey, there are a few of us out here, AlfaS rock and Ongaro are great really helpfull, and you gets what you pays for!!! AROC have a west section worth a look.

I saw you yesterday morning but it was too late to give you a wave. I was on east hill outside lidl's. i might see you tommorrow if you're out this way.

Haven't been around for ages and can't believe how much I've missed. Seen alimac i believe to and from work now and then but other than that have not been on the website for a long time.
So did a meet go ahead? And any more planned in the near future?
Have just had the AA out today, in need of a new clutch slave cylinder, hopefully get it sone over the weekend then out on the road again looking for some waves and flashes!

im always floating about, the giulietta is going in to the bodyshop next week to have a complete new rear end, is that your red GTV with the quad pipes? if so it sounds unreal!
