Bristol Meet

Is there going to be a Bristol meet any time soon as I have seen that quite a few members are from here.

Cheers,
Darren

Darren, I don't think Lynn has seen this thread yet. She'll be the one organising any event so I'll make sure she knows about it.

Re: Bristol Meet

Hi Darren - sorry I haven't been online much lately so I missed this

I will be organising a bigger SW meet soon, but can't do anything too soon as I'm off on holiday.

But how about a local Bristol meet on 26 August (I think that's the Sunday before Bank Holiday Monday!) I know a few pubs in North Bristol with good car parks we could use.

So if you live in Bristol, are about that weekend and fancy getting together for a few drinks, just let me know in this thread and we'll get something sorted.

Passion: there are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart...pursue those

Re: Bristol Meet

Do you all know the Fleur de Lys on the main road through Pucklechurch?

Stopped there for a drink with Gibbo on Friday afternoon and it looks ok - beer garden over looking a large car park - a bit restauranty inside, but I don't think that would be a problem.

Kelly, as long as you can get to the first exit of the M32, we could meet you there so you could follow us...it's about 10 minutes from the M32

Re: Bristol Meet

Sounds like a good idea, and my best way to get there is probably via the ring road so I can have a bit of blast out action on the way, lol.

Are we still scheduled for the Sunday before the bank holiday? My other half works Sundays anyway so it'll just be me and Alfie, lol.

Who else is coming?

Re: Bristol Meet

Lynn, have you got the address and post code of this place as then we can all just stick it into our sat navs and get there easy style.

Also, what time shall we meet up?

Cheers,
Darren

Re: Bristol Meet

Darren, if you head into Pucklechurch from the ring road the pub is on your left hand side as you approach the centre of the village So just put Pucklechurch into your satnav. And we must remember that not everyone has satnav

As for time, I'll check with Lynn for ya matey
