Re: Sunday lunchtime get-together for SW AOers
I know
I'm really not that desperate to get people to attend that I'm inviting the Irish!!! Although you're all more than welcome
Not sure how I managed it Hunter, but I've asked a mod to sort it out for me

Hey! I'll be more than up for this one, seems like it's a nice little pub!

Re: Sunday lunchtime get-together for SW AOers
It's a good job you've put a link to the place Lynn - there's another one with the same name not that far away.
Their web site isn't very good - doesn't even have an address/post code for the place to put into the sat nav!

Well done Lynn, I agree that it looks like a nice pub, but it really needs the address details on their website, tell them when you visit.

I don't know - it's alright for some
Sorry about the lack of address - I found this pub through another website which did have the address so didn't think to check
Anyway, the address for the Castle of Comfort is:
East Harptree, Bristol, Avon, BS40 6DD
So far I think we have:
Lynn, Gibbo and Gibbo Jr
Larry
Hammy156
Let me know if you're not on the list, but interested Our last meet was great fun and it'll be good to build on it and see some more new and familiar faces

Re: Sunday lunchtime get-together for SW AOers
I'm a maybe - will come if I'm not digging out a base for a garage.
TBH I'd rather be doing anything than digging out a base for a garage...

Re: Sunday lunchtime get-together for SW AOers
So kind
If it's chucking down I'll stay home with a digger, otherwise I'll try to make it, but I'm not going to get caught in the rain in the car - no fresh air intake and no demist!

Re: Sunday lunchtime get-together for SW AOers
I haven't seen a forecast for Sunday yet but the weather is so changeable at the moment, it would probably be wrong
Hope you can make it

Re: Sunday lunchtime get-together for SW AOers
While I would like to come along, as the meet is almost "on my doorstep", I have two problems (only one of which is Alfa related ), three of my Alfas are off the road for at least the next month and the fourth took a trip up to Automeo in Bristol last night to get some long term gremlins sorted. So the bottom line is I haven't got an Alfa on the road and SWMBO informs me we are off to Plymouth to spend the day with friends.
I hope the meet goes well and I look forward to meeting some of you sooner rather than later
