OK , LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE SOME INTERREST, NOW I HAVE HAD A LOOK AT THE HAYNES SITE IF WE CAN GET MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE WE CAN GET IN A BIT CHEAP (GROUP DISCOUNT) ,
I RECKON ON A SUNDAY AS NOT SURE WHO WORKS ON A SATURDAY, SO WE HAVE SUN FEB. 4 SUN 11 OR SUN 25,
IF WE CAN GET A GOOD TURNOUT AND POST SOME PHOTOS WE COULD DO IT AGAIN LATER ON IN THE YEAR SOMEWHER ELSE??
SO WHICH DATES ARE GOOD IF WE ARE ALL " DONT MINDS" THEN WE WILL PICK THE 25TH???? YOU LOT TELL ME????

25th sounds good to me

11th might be a bit close to valentines for some mushy couples who want a filthy dirty weekend away full of depravity

Well, I favour the end of the month as pay day means I can fill the tank up and get heavy on the throttle on longer open roads

I really would like this to be a 'goer' so to speak. I've done things like this before with other owners clubs, and usually end up disappointed at the lack of turnout compared to the interest posted previously!!

Anyway, time will tell!!!

I'm checking in daily too Paul, really keen on this one happening! Anyone planning on bringing a digital camera? (I realise that that could be a stupid question!)

Great venue. Went to Haynes a few years back and was really impressed. A fascinating mixture of vehicles.

Depends on time of day as well though - I wouldn't be able to get away with a trip to Yeovil without paying the price of a flying visit to Mother-in-Law

. Have to make sure we see her b4 going to Haynes - I'm going to need cheering back up again.

OKay then. So I've just read back over this thread, and the initial response seems pretty positive. I'm going to kick start the list again, and I think it might be useful for people to list what days are best for them (saves hunting the thread for the answers!!!)

Also, what thoughts do people have for getting there? Just meet up at the Museum, or get a convoy going?

Dates available: Sunday Feb 4th, 11th, or 25th.
