Jay are those Alfa roof bars?

They look out of place, like you could turn it upside down and use it as a sled.

yes they were painted silver when i got the car, the paint finish wasn't briliant but they looked better than the plain black ones

They look chrome in the photos. The design of the feet seems wrong like they should be on a Daimler hearse.

I think a purely functional proper rack with the foam surf board protectors would look better, but that's just my taste. The 156 is such a stunning design, my eyes seem to just get grabbed by those roof bars.

I've only ever driven 2 Alfas. One was a new black with black leather V6 saloon with the wooden steering wheel. It was the first 6 speed car I drove.

I was just on ebay and you know at the bottom of the item you're looking at it places images from 4 other similar items you may be interested in? It had this car as the 4th item, the bottom right alternative Alfa.
