any 145's in cornwall

had my 145 about 6 months now but only seen one 145 in that time and that was in the first week of having her. i know they are getting rare but someone's gotta have one down here or am i by myself in my own lonely club

Hi addamski, i have not seen many in/about cornwall on my travels.

I have only seen one in plymouth, a Zoe yellow green cloverleaf, i keep trying to catch up with the owner to see if he wants to part with it

even mines of the road now engine has a awful noise coming from it now. great way to start the new year but i will get her going again

only did cam belt 2000 miles ago but you never know whats been done to it before. ive started stripping it ready to take the engine out hopefully its just crank regrind and shells

Ouch!!!

Whats happened is the shells have most likely been 'flatspotted' when the cambelt snapped, if your lucky you may get away with shells only.

Its generally recommended to change the shells when the cambelt snaps.

Look on the positive though, when its done it will be cracking

well gonna be at least one 145 in cornwall again tomorrow as mine has its heart pumping again just gotta put some last bits back on and hook up drive shafts and bleed clutch

still dead. ticks over perfect but no power when driving plugged into computer got lots of fault codes cleared them all tried again still flat so plugged in again and only one this time saying cam position sensor. so stripped it all down again belts off ready to change sensor later.

she lives all sorted now. didnt think it reved like it used too but i changed oil and filter for some new stuff and it made it go through the rev range much quicker. goes to show the difference new oil can do to pefrormance.

im not alone ive seen another 145. but as i was driving the work van i didnt think it was right to wave like a complete loon at the girl driving it as it would freak her out. so i will keep an eye out when im on the same road in my bella

my bella has died again with terminal engine faliure.if you drive along the a30 at all you will prob still see my smoke screen that i left. you couldnt see east or west bound up the hill to launceston it was that bad with thick blue smoke every where.
