Visiting the Isle Of Wight this weekend

Together with friends form the Italian Auto Moto Club I will be staying at Yelf's Hotel in Ryde from Friday PM to Monday AM. If anyone in the area wants to get in touch with us please leave a message for Paul H / Peter & Geraldine at the hotel on 01983 564062. Any suggestions for good driving roads and things worth seeing this time of year please by PM to me or on this forum before Friday or to the hotel. It would be nice to meet any of you on the Island. Let's hope the weather isn't too bad!

You'll have lots of fun on the isle of wight theres soooo many things to see and do nah its not that bad really (moved off 6 mths ago) will be down there myself on saturday only a day visit tho. Only road worth mentioning is the Militry Road which runs down the west of the island, best thing I think you could do is do a lap round the isle, wouldn't take long, have fun!

Why you going to I.O.W anyway?

For the Great Western Weekend Away (Italian Auto Moto Club - we do a weekend away every autumn). On Friday I thought it was going to be the Great Western Wet and Windy Weekend Away but despite a few showers and a blustery Saturday it turned out well. We discovered that Weatherspoons in Ryde had a beer festival under way. Alls well that ends well!
Next year the GWWA may well be in Wales.
