In need of some chill, had to walk to the petrol station to buy a jerry can this morning, didn't fill up the car on the way home last night and parked facing up hill overnight, no petrol could get to the engine, alls well now but I wasn't a happy bunny earlier!

OH dear did it start ok when you put the petrol in ??

you play the red light roulette too? My mates car is constantly on the red - that way he always knows how much he's got left???

Eventually started ok, its my own fault, should have filled up last night.

I've been very skint the last few weeks so putting petrol in the car has been a bit of roulette, alls well now, stuck 30 litres of octane petrol in her now so I'll go for a mini spin down the A30 after work.

I'm never parking on that hill again, well not facing up hill and boxed in back and front!

Don't worry about sunday, only done 40 miles since sticking half a tank in, should need a little top up to keep caligula happy.

I chucked £40 in yesterday, and did 80 miles, needle is just over half a tank, so I should be fine (unless I put my foot down, not sensible with my dodgy brakes though )

Might cost us a bit more than half a tank, our round trip could be hitting 300 miles each.

Worth every penny.

So whats everyone doing this evening, I'm subjecting myself to rubbish tv and beer.

I might be heading to the pub in a bit.....

can anyone tell me what the alfa dealer is like in exeter? I think it's vospers isnt it? My car is under warranty and the driver's airbag comes on occasionally, though it is coming on more and more now. I can get it done locally but I would obviously have to pay, which I'm loathed to do.
Are they helpful?
Should I phone up alfa hq and kick off and make them pick it up?

If the car is still under warranty then surely a matter as simple as correcting an airbag warning light will be covered?

(Have you moved either drivers or passengers seat whilst the ignition is on?)

I know it would be under warranty, I'm just wondering if they are easy to deal with that's all. As it is a 80 mile round trip, I wanted to know what they were like.

It's quite possible I have moved the seat whilst ignition is on,

Vospers are a big company in Cornwall - not seen or heard anything of their alfa franchise though - they run pretty much all the ford franchises here,

I sometimes follow there parts van on my way to work, it has a big 'Club Ricambi' sign on the back.

I always remind him he's got an Alfa following him

Well its an early star today, off for a hair chop then fitting the suspensions arm, watching the F1 quallies, then its valet time and put the car to bed in a car cover all ready for tomorrow (seagull issues!).
