Re: Introduce yourself to AOS...

Hi, I'm Gordon,
I just bought a 2001 Spider 3.0l V6 Lusso Black with red leather. I use a 106 diesel for my commute (Lochwinnoch to Livingston) so the Alfa is the toy. I've just sold my modified 306 phase 1 cabriolet so it's the Pininfarina link that led me to Alfa.

Always been a great fan of italian cars, from older Lancia and Alfa models to early Lamborghini. I just thought if I was going to buy a gas guzzling car that has a penchant for breaking down the time is now! ( I'm not known for my sanity)

I'm a single 38 yr old Principal Mechanical Engineer. I currently work for TouchBionics in Livingston designing and making bionic hands for amputees. You may have seen us in the news lately as we won the MacRobert engineering award. Very Terminator and a lot of fun.

That's about it really.
Hope to meet some of you on the Moffat run if it's still on.

Lochwinnoch is about 15miles from Glasgow heading for Ayrshire/Largs for those who think it's near Inverness!

Nice car Gordon had a couple of GTV's myself in the past......still kinda miss my V6......and I found the red leather very stylish.

Re: Introduce yourself to AOS...

Hi,

I'm Iain, and I got my first Alfa, a GTV, a few weeks ago as a project...which is coming along nicely. Some pics here.

I live near Kinross, so I'm not sure if that puts me in North or South Scotland...?

I enjoy working on cars, and if anyone n
