Yes it is possible, the second code, not the first, though it's unlikely!
The car will be doing a bit of learning since you degunked the MAP and the EGR, it's probably just that, mainly the MAF/EGR reconciliation the ECU does will be different.
Just as an update to keep this thread relevant.....
After 10 starts over the course of yesterday the EML cleared this morning, I did 100 miles today over to Edinburgh and back. Even though the EML had gone the engine felt grouchy. cjromeo kindly offered to check out what the error was at his place and it turned out to be an erroneous DPF fault. The fault appeared to say the DPF was blocked but the OBD came back saying it was 14% clogged and rising on idle (so clearly not clogged).
The fault was cleared via the laptop and my drive home was brilliant. Full unadulterated joy as the 159 had it's effortless surge back, lifting her skirt on the B roads like I remembered before the weird "Have the engine checked" warning yesterday on the motorway.
